All about Beautycounter Facial Mists

I’ve been keeping a secret from you…I am obsessed with our facial mists. My skin has seriously transformed from using our brightening, plumping and balancing mists. I have fewer breakouts and my skin feels hydrated. The best part is that using mists gives me that lit from within glow that I love so much. In this post, I will share what makes Beautycounter facials mists so special and how I use them.

There are actually 4 mists in the Beautycounter skin care collection, but for this post, I will only be focusing on 3. These three are from our Beautycounter+ collection which are targeted treatment collections meant to be used to treat specific issues or areas of the skin. The three collections have potent active ingredients that are designed specifically to work on specific skin issues. I find the mists extremely moisturizing and I find that my skin stays hydrated for longer stretches of the day even in dry winter indoor heat.

No. 1 Brightening Mist

The no. 1 brightening mist smells absolutely heavenly and is my go to for when I want a lit from within, super radiant glow. I recommend this mist if your skin looks dull or you struggle with acne scars and uneven skin tone.

Active-infused and alcohol-free, this revitalizing mist preps skin, sets makeup, and refreshes throughout the day. Infused with multi-source vitamin C complex, the Beautycounter+ Brightening collection reawakens dull skin and boosts radiance. Antioxidant-rich vitamin C helps reduce the appearance of age spots for a brighter, more even complexion.

No. 2 Plumping

The plumping mist was the one I thought I would use the least because I don’t think of myself as having fine lines and wrinkles but I enjoy it very much as a moisturizer and a highlighter on top of my make up. Our make up goes on beautiful and doesn’t look dry or matte. I do use the plumping mist to refresh my make up and make my skin look supple and pretty after wearing it for a few hours. This mist also smells absolutely amazing!

The plumping mist restores and firms moisture-depleted skin with powerful peony and jasmine essences. Replenishing peony root helps plump skin, while rye seed minimizes the appearance of fine lines. Perfect for all skin types and those concerned with dryness, loss of elasticity, and fine lines.

No. 3 Balancing

If you follow me on Instagram or have seen any of my youtube videos, you know that I am a huge fan of our charcoal products which is the active ingredient in our balancing collection. I always introduce new clients to our charcoal cleansing bar and follow up with the balancing mask with activated charcoal. I love how fresh and clean it makes my skin and it has helped me keep hormonal acne at bay for months.

So the no. 3 balancing mist is really special because it is an amazing make up setting mist. This mist keeps your make up in place for hours and hours. I also love spritzing first thing in the morning because it has peppermint oil in it that is incredibly refreshing. Balancing mist is specially formulated with charcoal powder and kaolin clay, it absorbs excess oil, refines skin texture, and helps calm redness. Perfect for all skin types and those concerned with clarity, calming, and balancing.
